The Netflix Releases To Watch This December 2017



The most exciting thing about it turning December (apart from chocolate for breakfast of course), is the new releases that are coming to Netflix this month. From absolute Christmas classics that can't be missed to second seasons of our favourite series (The Crown we're talking about you), there's some seriously exciting releases coming to Netflix this December and we're already excited for the cosy Netflix nights in hiding from the arctic weather conditions that are currently going down in the UK. We don't know what we did before Netflix entered our lives to be totally honest and with hibernating season in full swing, there's never been a better time to cosy up by the fireplace in some cosy PJ's this December and tuck into that box of Celebrations you've been trying to resist all month.

1. The Crown (Season 2)

The second season of one of our fave Netflix original series is coming very, very soon and we're rather excited for Claire Foy and Matt Smith to make a royal return back to our screens this Christmas. As a new era begins, Queen Elizabeth is struggling to navigate a world that's changing around her. 



 



2. The Santa Clause





Coming to Netflix: 12th December



This 1994 Christmas classic has absolutely got to be on your Christmas movie bucket list this December. When an advertising executive (Tim Allen ) accidentally kills Santa, he finds himself magically recruited to take his place on Christmas Eve and is transported to the North Pole where he is informed by a group of elves that he is now Santa. Be sure to cosy up by the tree and stick this Christmas classic on this December. 



 



3. Hitch





Coming to Netflix: 1st December



Fall in love with Will Smith again in this classic American rom-com which follows dating coach "Hitch" mentor a bumbling client hoping to win the heart of the glamorous Allegra Cole, whilst facing his own romantic setbacks along the way when his own proven techniques fail to work on Sara Melas. We can't quite believe it's been 12 years since Hitch was released to be honest, so cosy up this Sunday and stick this classic on.

This 2002 Eminem classic follows a young rapper struggling with every aspect of his life and his attempt to launch a career in hip-hop, a genre domiated by African-Americans. If you haven't seen this classic, then we strongly suggest you get watching it this December.



 



7. Maid In Manhattan





Coming to Netflix: 13th December



As if we needed any more reason to love Jennifer Lopez, she steals our heart everytime in this classic rom-com set in Manhattan. Gather the girls, pop the popcorn in the microwave and cosy up and watch this adorable rom-com that will make you want to book a one way ticket to New York this winter. 



 



8. Dark





Coming to Netflix: December 3rd



If you're a Stranger Things fanatic, then Dark will be right up your street. This supernatural thriller is the first ever German Netflix production and follows four families on a frantic hunt for answers when a child goes missing. Something tells us we're going to be addicted...

Coming to Netflix: 22nd December



The highly anticipated Netflix original movie that cost a whopping $90 million is finally coming to Netflix on 22nd December and we're intrigued to watch the legendary Will Smith co-star with elves and fairies in this new action thriller that is the most expensive Netflix Original movie ever made.
